Charlotte began her training at the 'Buckley school of dance' at the age of 3, and progressed through her BBO (British Ballet Organization) and RAD (Royal Academy of Dance) examinations to an advanced level. She continued her education at York College studying Musical Theater before successfully auditioning and attending Bird College of Dance and Theater Performance in London, England. She graduated with BA Honors Degree in Dance and Theater Performance in 2012. Charlotte obtained her PBT (Progressive Ballet Technique) certification in August 2021.
Experience
Charlotte has performed in a variety of musicals and productions ranging in style in London and around the UK. Charlotte has enjoyed working with private schools in their musical productions & before opening Roc Dance gained experience teaching at dance studio’s across the Rochester & Buffalo area. Ms Charlotte is also the proud owner of ‘Mini Moovers’ a daycare dance program offering dance to toddlers and young dancers in the Rochester area.

Krista began her training at Little Red Dance Studio here in Rochester, NY. Later she graduated Cum Laude from SUNY Purchase College with her Bachelors in the Fine Arts in Dance in 2012. She has also studied with River North Dance Chicago and The Conservatorio Superior de Danza de Madrid in Madrid, Spain.
Experience
Krista has performed with Princess Cruise Lines, in The 25th Anniversary of American Classical Orchestra, and the International Choreography Competition in Burgos, Spain. Locally Krista has been a part of Lehrer Dance and the New York State Ballet. Krista has also been cast in freelance works by Lar Lubovitch, Merce Cunningham, Nelly von Bommel, Jason Parsons, and Michael Brown. Her choreography has been selected to be shown at demonstrations in and around Manhattan, and has been recognized and awarded by national competitions throughout America.

Michelle began her training at The Dance Training Center in Greece, NY. Michelle’s love for dance and working with children led her onto The College at Brockport where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Arts for Children with a specialization in Dance, along with a degree in Childhood Inclusive Education.
Experience
Alongside her college studies and teaching at Roc Dance, Michelle has ample amount of experience with children of all ages from working in childcare settings to teaching in an elementary classroom. When she’s not dancing, she’s working as a Pre-K teacher in Webster
What she loves most about teaching
“I love teaching and sharing with my students the experiences that made me the dancer I am today. Being able to unlock potential and confidence in my students is a really rewarding feeling and I love seeing my students improve and grow throughout the year. It’s so important to me that I build relationships with each student, creating a positive environment that leads to having fun still while learning within the studio.”

He has performed with Gelsey Kirkland Academy and the JoffreyBallet School, and with Ballet for Young Audiences in New York City.

Chris has performed various lead roles in several companies across the states including Carolina Ballet Theatre, Springfield ballet, Western Ballet, and Ballet Theater Company. Chris has had the pleasure of guest teaching at Fort Hills Dance Conservatory in South Carolina and Terpsichore Dance in North Carolina as well as Nazareth College, U of R, and RIT.

Katie trained at Betty Jo’s Dance Center for 15 years. She is pursuing her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Chemistry at RIT/NTID, in addition to a minor in dance.

Experience
Becca started her training in Rochester, New York at Studio 19 Dance company. She trained in several styles with a major focus on hip hop and street styles. She later went on to pursue her BFA in dance from SUNY Brockport, where she graduated spring of 2023. While at Brockport Becca was captain of the Brockport dance team and was the head of costuming and production for the student dance organization. Becca has choreographed and performed in works throughout Rochester, at SUNY Brockport and at the international women in dance conference in Chicago.
What he loves most about teaching
Becca has found a love for creating and teaching throughout her dance career. She hopes to instill the same passion for dance in her students that she found at their age. Creating an environment that is safe and welcoming for students to grow in, is one of Becca’s main goals when it comes to teaching. She hopes to continue to share her love for dance with younger students.
